Announcing Season 5 of Ad Astra

Set against the backdrop of 1919 New York City, GRIMM centers around a young woman using the Brothers Grimm fairy tales to explore the challenges of growing up and the conflicts of her world. It explores the themes of prejudice, loss, self discovery, and reclaiming the magic of childhood, all within the context of beloved stories such as Cinderella, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty and more.
GRIMM is written and directed by Maya Terrystein, produced by Eva Hymes, assistant directed by Sarah Dworman, artistically supervised by Caroline Whitaker and Choreographed by Katy Hawthorne.
We are aware of the uncertainty of the world we live in, and while we hope that an in-person production will be viable come spring, we are also dedicated to the safety of our members. While we are developing this production as though it will be in-person, with social distancing and safety measures in place, we are also making plans in the instance we choose to have a virtual production as we did last spring. We will begin rehearsing virtually, and hopefully move to in-person if circumstances allow
